Greetings:My wife and I just got back from the PETER GABRIEL show in
Toronto on july 4th at the MOLSON AMPHITHEATRE. The tour
is winding down --- there are only a handful of dates left. We
also decided that we are buying the entire tour box set of the
OFFICAL BOOTLEGS available through PG's website. This actually was the first time in quite a number of years,
where I saw shows at the beginning and end of a tour. This PG
show was also different in that it was not in the round --- it
was on a proscenium stage. There were a couple of things
that he had to remove from the show because of this.Peter did make a speech about how angry he was with the
"world's remaining superpower" --- which got a lot of
applause and much verbal agreement from the people who sat
nearby. The show opened with Uzbekistan vocalist Sevara Nazarkhan.
She was wonderful!! During the PG set, she did a mind-
blowing version of IN YOUR EYES --- it was beautiful. I am
looking forward to buying her CD.Sevara Nazarkhan website

literally singing the final refrain all the way back to the
