I thought Honeydripper was a fine little film. Some of the acting was a bit...uh...amateur, but that's what happens when amateurs are hired.

Always nice to see Keb' Mo' on film tho.

On the other end of the blues on film spectrum, and not for those with weak constitutions, check out Black Snake Moan. Exploitative, obsessive, and overindulgent. I loved it.
