Being that I work with the public, and a very young public lot, the government trickle-down set it up
so that employees could get free flu shots this week. I passed. I don't often get the flu, which of
course is no indicator of future hits or misses, but I'm ignorantly fearful enough to not want one.Don't see how it should matter in your public/private insurance scenario. At first read, it seems like
they could be trying to show proof that they take care of those in need of their services and do not
discriminate against those who cannot afford private insurance. (Who can, really?) But by trying to
make a point of not discriminating against publicly insured people, they are discriminating against
privately insured people. Or maybe that's all hogwash and I need to "learn me some more" on the
subject.
