I don't think that Dan was trying to curtail your free speech. I think all he was suggesting was that you practice a bit more courtesy when debating your fellow board members here. I think it's pretty clear you can say what you want as you always have. Dan was the guy though that created this site and I do think that you owe it to him to hear him out when he puts his 2 cents in on something. If he had not put the time in and done the work you could not come here and "open our eyes" to the things you see going on in the world.
I think there are plenty of us here that enjoy reading what you have to say. I think it adds to the environment here personally. You must know going in though, Kent, that many people are not going to be receptive of this information due to it's controversial nature. You know that many of them will doubt what you're telling them and will challenge it's veracity. So if you're going to put yourself out there by sharing what you know, you've got to be prepared to take the flak you're going to get for doing so.
For the record, as I read Kevin's post it did not seem that he was launching any sort of personal attack against you. He was not trying to debunk you. I think all he did was state his opinion. He never called you any names or made any allusions to your mental well being. All he did was indicate his skepticism and state what he felt was fair standards and practices for a pharmacuetical company with intent to return a profit on it's investment. Now what's fair in that area is debatable but were you debating that in your response?
I will admit that you take plenty of abuse around here Kent but I think the reason Dan would not step in on your behalf is because he probably believes, as do I, that you know the hazards inherent in making the sort of statements you do. The cost of being who you are and doing what you do is that people will call you crazy and disagree with you. In this particular case though Kent, with Kevin and Dan, no one did any such thing or attacked you in any way. So your venom is misspent on them.
Sorry, to intrude on things here as it really wasn't my place to do so. Actually I was just going to ask Kent about Bohemian Grove and I got sidetracked.
