We need 'oversight" of prevention to lighten the load in the healthcare system fifty years from now.Other than injecting a pellet into the brain at birth set to fatally explode at age 65 which would eliminate Social Security and the biggest draw on the health system:Reinstitute pe in the schools at all levels.Throw out all high fructose corn syrup.Ban making soft drink containers larger than 12 oz.Quit fucking around with tobacco growers, and put them out of business by placing cigarettes in the same category as ddt and other environmental insults.Alongside fairy tales place food labels as part of the way we teach our children to read. Emphasise the importance of self-regulation in calories in and calories out--a matter of simple math which is not buried in expensive, complicated diet programs--just in case none of the above are implemented.I quite concur lauding the healthcare foot soldiers as dedicated, conscientious, and sincere in their desire to provide the best care available in spite of the restrictions placed upon them by insurance companies which consistently put clerical bureaucrats between me and my doctor.
