it seems to me that anybody that would go out and kill somebody due to something Bill O'Reilly said was already quite patently INSANE! So, as much as I think it is irresponsible to put Bill O'Reilly on the air, I think if you want a "guilty" party in this case it should be the people writing him a paycheck not Bill...after all they are paying him specifically to say what he says and do what he does. Until they tell Bill not to do or say that crap he should do and say whatever he wants...and quite honestly that's exactly what he is doing. O'Reilly is just a mad barking dog and a moron, I honestly think he is so unhinged he has no sense of what he is saying or doing. He really is a real live Howard Beale, out of his fucking tree and getting paid to be that way.
Look at the clips of him losing his shit, it's obvious his pea sized brain is afflicted with some wild and venomous chemical imbalance and he should be hospitalized not televised.
Let's be honest too, mankind is not a responsible species, we can't be responsible for our own health or environment for the most part which are far more deadly concerns...so going off the deep end with free speech is some real minor league shit.
Plus one of my favorite sayings is you can't legislate responsibility and when government goes out and attempts to make laws that are designed to make people more responsible it generally does not help do much except raise some revenue.
If we need government to make laws designed to make most of our citizens more responsible we are truly fucked...which probably about sums things up.
This is gonna sound pretty dark but the thing is we are gonna kill some people and certain people are more likely targets than others and that's the way of the world...or what God wants...or the nature of the beast...or life on Highway 61...
