Taking the time to do the things you never had, I see.An interesting thing about McKee: he apparently starts with the tunings and then lets the sounds suggest where to go compositionally. Michael Hedges, on the other hand, worked backwards from melodic ideas, finding the tuning that made the ideas work with regard to ringing harmonics, open strings, etc.
