In addition to the fact that much of the material that you posted was actually added by some dishonest person, and not part of Ben Stein's original statement (though arguably true to his intent), there is also the matter of Ben Stein's own character, which I believe is rather well displayed in this video.

Ben Stein is hardly a champion of intellectual honesty (though he plays one on TV). In fact he's clearly a huckster, making a buck off the muck he can chuck.

As far as being one "secure in his beliefs," well, I don't think that applies to our friend Stein. If it did, I can't imagine why he would travel such intellectually dishonest pathways to get his "message" out.
