I was there at Nighttown in Cleveland last night.

A solo show, all acoustic (guitars/piano) Excellent set, mix of old and new songs a couple Eagles tunes, and the new stuff came across quite well acoustically.

Souther was in great voice and spirits. told some great stories.

A little too crowded, they must have turned no one away and the place just isn't very big at all and it got uncomfortably crowded.

Opening act (that was never mentioned in the ads) wasn't very good at all (squeeky voiced young girl). Souther didn't come on until almost 8:30 which means we sat there for almost 2 hours waiting, not good in a crowded noisy bar. surely done to sell more booze.

He also said he would be touring this summer with a band.
