spot on about the poppy and remembrance day thing Gene. An occasion of great ambivalence to me. A greatgrandfather who dies in Hastings after being wounded at Ypres, leaving my maternal grandmother and her mother and sister impoverished at an early age. His name was John Mills. And yet dying for England in the 1st world war is nothing to write home about if you're of republican stock. this song sums up the whole ambivalent thinghttp://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=zanyZGi0Nak
