Gross or net is indeed the question there. The first thought that came into my mind when this whole BS Joe the Plumber thing came up is "What kind of dumbass would take their entire gross business income as personal?"The first lesson in Small Business/Entrepeneur 101 is: Incorporate--don't mix your company's liabilities with your personal, and vice/versa.Anyone who pays personal income tax on their own business needs a serious education in business or their effort will be very short-lived.
