Who can say; it hasn't even been introduced yet, as far as I know. Still, it has some big money backers and there have to be a whole lot of mortgage holders like me who wouldn't mind slurping a few mouthfuls out of the government trough.My guess is that if the economy stays stagnant or goes further downhill, something like this will get a good look. Some credit card bailout scheme might be in the cards too.Unless an astonishing economic miracle occurs, next year there's going to be a lot of pressure on the new Congress to do something, anything, up to and including dropping bales of currency from helicopters. I can only hope I'm downwind when it happens.
