The Founding Fathers over here preached against the dangers of Party politics. And of course
my whole thesis is that our Dems & Reps are the two wings of the same party(against the
people rather than serving the people, etc) but a great many Americans actually think their
party represents them, despite the evidence to the contrary.Let's consider an example in the American model which has been duplicated time and again. A
hue & cry -not unlike the present- goes up across the nation about something or other, let's
say in this instance insurance fraud. Starting about a hundred years ago our representatives
hear our distress and set up a commission to study our concern. And later a governmental
agency. Problem is they are invariably run by "knowledgeable" members of the industry in
question, or former elective office sycophants who befriended the industry with favorable votes
during there term of serving the people. Which brings us back not only to 'parties' serving the few, but, if reality is viewed for what it is,
government as it grows inevitably ends up serving the few.anyhow, it's nothing you don't know, probably including the American idiosyncrasies, hey
Mick. Hope all is well.
