If I had to pick a favorite, it would be Uncle Meat, without a doubt. By far the tightest live band I have ever seen, tour after tour - he used to speed the tempo up through the tour so by the end they were capable of warp speed - check "You Can't Do That on Stage Anymore - Vol. II - The Helsinki Concert" parts of that still make me stare at my speakers in disbelief.
