Mr. Herring,
Without saying too much, I work in a world where those who have had a year of physics--or
who have
read the Brian Greene/Stephen Hawking books through the prism of their rudimentary understanding
of mathematics--right before their brain chemistries went deeply south call and call and write and
email that the LHC is gonna kill us all and that a variety of the world's leading physicists and the US
Government and Obama (of course, it always comes back to Obama) are all complicit and that they--
the lone wikipediests who are off their meds.
have the answer (s).
You would not believe the Ibuprofen I have had to take dealing with the rantings and threats of
some
of these, er, colorful citizens. I am now the Mayor of Advil. My memoir shall be entitled: I, Ibuprofen.
This is all to say that the world is not going to end on Wednesday--if for no other reason, that I
have
little in in my checking account at current to pay a ton of bills and this has always meant a
continuation of the world spinning round and round, collecting fees--which creates the corollary that
the world will still go round and round.
So, watch that spending. But enjoy the day all the same.
