I did not see Palin's speech so I did not see the "palm lick" but I'll take your word on it. I don't think
much of Palin or her family and I don't know too much about how they are being portrayed in the
media. So, how is it you think they have been portrayed? As far as I can tell at this point she is in the honeymoon phase with the media although the
announcement that Ms. Palin would not be doing interviews pissed off a lot of people in the media. I
think they are all running around gathering info on her at this point because so little was known about
her when she was chosen. The general thought is that she is a disaster waiting to happen and the
McCain camp is already sorry they picked her. It's funny McCain supposedly had settled on Lieberman
and this totally freaked out the RNC folks and they quickly drafted Rove to come in and sit down with
McCain to get him off of the Lieberman idea. I guess they tried to force Romney on him instead but
McCain rejected that and then after fighting about it right down to the wire they finally settled on Palin
as a compromise. The problem was they had little time to do the proper vetting and so now they have
a real problem on their hands. I guess Pat has no comment on the "Christians against McCain" video. Pat...you out there?
