Personally, I think Cindy McCain is a tragic figure. One of those people that has "everything" and "nothing" at the same time. All the polish on the outside seems to be designed to hide that there is nothing on the inside. Standing with McCain at event after event with a vacant smile and staring out through her eyes like a prisoner from his cage as he treats her as little more than a decoration...like a flag pin or the right tie. It is sad and disgusting to look at because you see that he is driven forward only by his goal to be president and she, in all honesty, seems just to be standing by waiting for her life to end...a vast sea of emptiness. These are after all just people and they are subject to all the same things we are and in truth Cindy McCain seems just another victim fed to the beast to satisfy its insatiable hunger. Cindy McCain, if she ever existed, vacated whatever that is standing next to John McCain at every photo op long ago.
Once a little girl played on the grass with her new puppy, a red tricycle nearby. There is photographic evidence of this. The legend says her name was Cindy. We'll never know who she was.
