Eugene,I implore you young man to put an end to this talk about voting for a third party, and pull the lever for the Democrats. Good god man, I’m 88 freaking years old! I can’t hang on much longer! Now you’re probably wondering how a tired, old Supreme Court justice would know of your voting indifference. Well, the truth of the matter is that I’ve been lurking on this board for quite some time. You see, back in ’86, we were spending many nights pondering the Bowers v. Hardwick case. A clerk, whose name eludes me, brought in a cassette by David & David. It was quite a hit here. Thurgood Marshall and Warren Burger loved to sing along with Swallowed By The Cracks in the men’s room. Great acoustics you know. The devotion to Mr.Baerwald’s music continues to this day, and it cuts across the ideological lines. Clarence Thomas really dug, can I say that “dug”? Anyway, he really dug “A Fine Mess”. He borrowed it from Sandy O”Connor and never gave it back. Clarence in fact posts here frequently; goes by Pat Brown. Get it? But I digress, Eugene. The point is, my days are numbered. I cannot resign until a Democrat is again president. I have a reality show with Hef all lined up, not to mention a TV judge show (with my own baliff, from the Playboy mansion). I do hope you will consider my position, Eugene.JPS
