Well, you may take comfort in that for a while but... Word is, all the majors are following suit. If you think the DSL providers will sit back after the other guys have all gone "pay per view", I think you are in for a rude awakening.

After all, as I recall, DSL was originally much more expensive then cable and the cables companies saw it as an opportunity to be more in line with DSL pricing.

I hope you are right and I am wrong.
