Even The Stoics (whom I’ve become recently inadvertently introduced to) were
energized by sentimentality. Yeah, perhaps a true Stoic would argue contrary to that.
I had a flash of complete empathy for La Roshe & a grave appreciation for the noble-
whole that looks through unchallenged eyes at this our blue skies and earth demesne.
In hindsight, the expressive word “rubbish” did not really apply. Yin or Yang, dang.
Ain’t no thang … shoo-whop she-bang … the cat had an eloquent way with miserable.
Come to think of it, Cass, not sure if it’s your point, but: point taken. As is often the
fact, ma’am, my second/third response (being that first response usually triggers further
thought before posting and thus second or third response becomes first post) is a hasty
one, but with promise. I still hold my ground regarding sentiment … b’cause I must.
However, void of sentiment sustained him until his what mid-late sixties after so many
personal losses and hardships, …& look at Nietzsche, sheez, like a rock like an island.
So I'm cool w/deleting the posts…or keepin'em up. It was just an honest (at best) response to an affecting read iz all. ... like my second-favorite post of recent.
