Sure they are overheated and a bit gonzo but that's the point I think. They are films, part entertainment, part fact...he's not making documentaries and he sure wants to provoke. I'm ok with that.

There …that’s what?…the second time we’ve been in agreement regarding film. There is much to be appreciated about the goings on in an Oliver Stone film if viewed with an eye for poetic license and aware of the broad means of history’s big picture to blast us off in mottled globs of metalflake green gel that sticks to our brains and oozes out our ears and eye sockets and nostrils, effecting us in ways that we can never return from to innocence.
