“If we do not change course, we are in grave danger of ending up where we are headed.”

Neither Walt Whittman nor Lawrence Ferlinghetti could have said it better, Herring405.  Maybe somebody could have, but nobody did.  Personally, I see the plight of the more simple (Karen) people of Burma as the magnetic north of how things are going to the dregs, …and (sadly) I get the feeling that IN A BUSINESS-run society, where bottom line is the hardline, not even the most noble are apt to find a better path towards something more optimistic.   Bitterness is a breath of morning air anymore, GM  ~ even if followed by something hopeful … like a hug or a smile … and some inspiration for the day ahead.

Whoever the GOP appoints without our blessings via business interests and red tie zeal will more than likely beat a dying dog more to death than did the nightmare now heading into the comfort of high art & retirement, given the tools that have been written into law.

& if I (the mostly simple & autodidact) can see it, then it is becoming blaringly clear.
