Yes, there are actually a few memorials in place in the area of the shootings. I think the best and most poignant is that they've made little lighted squares where the four where killed. When I was there - there were flowers places in the squares. There's also another marble marker with the names of the killed and wounded. There's also a professionally done monument that sits away from the site but overlooks the commons area where the students were mostly protesting. There's also an official Ohio landmark sign that spells out the events of the day. When I was there - I saw a sign in a window that mentioned a soon to be opened museum on campus with the hopes of putting the events of the day in a historical perspective. From the main road - the signs point to the "May 4th Memorial".
