I don't think they fear a Cheney presidency. If the rock that the Bush Administration lives under was
ever lifted to
expose them to sunlight Cheney would shrivel up like a grub as well. If Bush were ever to go down
Cheney
would be there to break his fall.
I think that the Democrats fear payback- an endless cycle of revenge. That and they don't want
to
derail Obama's 'positive' message.
