At a certain age, it seems, everybody you encounter knows your name for some reason. And that name is ..."SIR"

I completely empathize with that, Geno.  There’s a timeline one crosses over… the first (second, third) time a pretty girl walks up to you all smiles…and then says something like, “…excuse me, sir, …but do you know how to get to…?”. or, “excuse me, sir, …what time do you have?” ~~ & I don’t even wear a watch.  Often it depends on how I’m dressed, how exhausted I look or how bad the luggage bags under my eyes are … heh … but something … groovy … at that point … falls from one’s list of social assets….

While playing a 45 minute set (my left hand & fingertips have been getting numb/tingly too quickly) of originals & one cover (Van Diemans Land) in the family room the other night, in the back of my mind I was thinking, “…Live performance is a younger person’s art…& I certainly have missed the boat … mumble, mumble, glub, glub…”    …heh … oh well, …tick-tock, tick-tock …

Maybe post some more of your music, Eugene?  I’m guessing not everyone here has your tracks on rotation at home.  How about Chappaqua (one of my favorites)?
