There were two of them. The best songs were tunes Frisell had already debuted elsewhere, like "Amarillo Barbados." I liked the albums, but I thought Baker's drumming didn't sync with Frisell as well as has Joey Baron, Jim Keltner, or Kenny Wolleson (or Brian Blade for that matter). For the earlier stuff, I liked "Before We Were Born" a lot, but my real entry into his playing was the John Zorn/Naked City material. Now that's some fierce music.
