Kent, Although i don't favor exploitative conspiracy theories, i must admit a there's a nagging coincidence surrounding the event that is very strange. Chapman stayed at the YMCA on West 63rd street, directly across the street from the Century Apartments, where Lennons enemy Morris Levy resided. Lennon & Levy were involved in a long term bitter legal dispute which some say was really ugly. It is also alleged that Levy was a very serious underworld figure, who in his lifetime brutaly resolved many arguments and business arrangements. The coincidence continues. A day or two after Lennon's death, the only witness to a possible visit by Chapman to Levy, the doorman at the Century Apartments was killed by a hit & run driver, which of course is documented. I don't think anybody know's about this and I'm not saying that this has any bearing on the actual murder but after reading the article you posted, if anyone needed a linchpin Levy would definitley fit the bill. Levy died in prison of cancer, just like John Gotti, The Shah of Iran and Jack Ruby. Tom Finn
