IMHO, when he says:  America is addicted to oil.  It’s not said as a statement of fact.  It’s said as a manipulation.  A mind-f#ck; i.e., …look into my eyyyes, you are adicted to oiiiilllll, ye’ can truss’me, …you are sick with the oil sickness, yer hooked,  ye’ need it, ye’ wan’it, …ye know ye gota hav it……………..so why fight it, …go out and get it,  ….nomatter what ye gota payyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
