The educational system in this country is failing because a well-educated populace simply would not allow the atrocities that have become commonplace in this day and age, and those who have the authority to fund or destroy education know that better than anyone. A well-educated populace would simply vote in their own interests, instead of being herded into xenophobia, aggression, and poverty. A well-educated populace would kick up an uncomfortable fuss at the 6 trillion dollar cronyized rip off that we've all come to know and love.

And that simply must not be allowed to happen.
