Icon Does the press match the crime?

This is a whisper industry, and whispers can end careers.  I myself have long been damaged by such whispers--but more recently witness the organised campaigns against the Dixie Chicks, against the Robbinses, against Sean Penn, etc...

I was reading the other day that 2 DJ's and I dont quite remember where was playing some Dixie Chicks record when the radio station had a policy against playing them. The station manager said he was firing both of the DJ's although they would lift the ban soon. I began to think the whole thing might just be a publicity stunt to get more press for the station. I really find the whole press coverage of the event overblown and hyped to sell newspapers. The story is simple. One of the chicks made a stupid asinine remark on foreign soil. As Red would say to his son on that 70's show. "Now son don't be a dumbass".  I say to the chick Natalie  "What a dumbass move" :):)

Hey David, hows about a musical update. Have you even played live since the show at Antones?
