Yeah, I know what you are saying, PK, but I don't think they were shot in the same place. The Bolivia stuff in Butch & Sundance was shot in Mexico but not in Durango which is where Peckinpah liked to shoot down there. I don't know for certain but I don't think so. Love both films though. IMDB gives filming locations for both of them and the locations don't match up.
