*** Do you take everything your Preist/Rabbi/Minister says as "Gospel" truth, not to be questioned or debated? ***

My wife and I went to church with my mother this past Christmas Eve. She has been going to the same church for the past 40-50 years. Me? I don't go to church but I went with my mother because it meant a lot to her to have her children there with her on Christmas Eve.

The priest/minister spoke of peace, helping others, praying for others, kindness etc etc. I would never question his words or his message. How can you question a message like that? I can see why my mother enjoys going to that church and hearing those messages. She gains a lot of strength from them and she prides herself on heeding those words and being a good person.

If her minister/pastor EVER said ANY of the words spoken by JW she, and the rest of the congregation, would have him thrown out on his ass. However, JW seems to be preaching to a completely different crowd, with a completely different agenda, so his messages are acepted as well.  This agenda and vision seems to be shared by more than a few on this board.

BTW   Obama says he's been going to this church for 20 years. Why hasn't he been blasted for having "Jesus in his life" as Bush has been over the past few years? And why was Romney and HIS faith thrown under the bus during the primaries?

I can only imaging the firestorm if a conservative attended this church of hate rather than The Messiah.
