It is the modern Roycroft Renaissance mark. It is Trade Marked by the Roycofters At Large Association and in order to use it an artist must be juried annually (or in the case of a Master Artisan every 5 years which is the level that I am currently at). If an artist that has been awarded the use of the mark ever fails to rejury they loose the right to use the mark until they are again awarded it's use.
