See this movie. It really shook me up, and will really make you wonder about the "justice" system in this country.
I actually know the reporter/journalist involved with this case, since I testified in another case she was working on. She is a champion of getting to the truth. The case I was working on involved a young woman who was brutally assaulted during a robbery, so that she is severely brain injured. She may have seen her assailant, but was unable to give a convincing ID during trial due to the neurological impairment. Double jeopardy of the worst sort. Now some 11 years later, the case is again stirring the waters, because they might have sent the wrong guy to jail!
