Yeah - I know the board is not the fastest thing. There are a couple of factors - the most important being the number of messages on here. We've had quite a increase in the number of posts with the default 7 day view showing 100-150 messages. Without going into the programming part of the board - the more messages the longer it takes. The second factor (which might be more important - I don't know) has to do with the server this site sits on. I noticed that during the evening (after 8 or so EST), the board runs much faster than during mid-day. I have some questions for the server people - and hopefully with a little tweaking on their end - we can speed things up a little.
