Your heartfelt post is appreciated.  I sometimes can't help but feel that our best is behind us but I won't allow myself to believe that.  It seems though that we're at the end of an innocence and there are some dark clouds on the horizon but rather than see them as a looming darkness I see them as a storm which will pass.

One thing which has changed for us all is our access to information and the flood of opinions we try and absorb and sort out.  We're all finding out that things aren't always as they seem and we have to be more open-minded than we've ever been in our lives...it's an especially difficult thing to do at times like these.

It's one thing to put your head in the sand and ignore the world around us but I find that I have to limit my exposure to the negativity coming at me or it absolutely begins to take me down.
