I think I might have given this board a shout out when the film hit the big screen. I was lucky enough to have witnessed an advance screening of the film earlier this year. The film's two stars and director where on hand after the screening for a Q & A. Glen and Markita then peformed four songs live. It was one of the most magical nights I had in years. I've been a fan of Glen's music (The Frames), so it was a treat to chat them both up after the session. Sadly, Marketa told me that this (film and tour) was it for her and Glen (music made together that is).So count me as #3 Roger! Do rent this beauty folks, it's a wee bit sad, but so rewarding in the music department, so check out the soundtrack as well or Glen and Marketa's band/album, "The Swell Season". If you like, head further back into Glen's catalog of tunes with his band, The Frames.
