all these fine folks have released new albums
recently. i've wanted to review them all, but
i haven't really had much quality listening time.
i haven't even managed to get a copy of ani's album
yet...the beauty of the rain - dar williams
seems to continue toward more produced, less
acoustic-guitar-based music... same dar lyrics,
although less humour.fleeting days - dan bern
i haven't been able to get into this quite as
much as new american language or his 2
recent EPs, but it's good dan bern.diamonds on the inside - ben harper
his albums always have a mix of moods, styles,
and tempos. this one stretches the mix even more.
like the dan bern album, this one hasn't yet grown
on me as much as the older ones.evolve - ani difranco
i've heard a few songs, but don't have it yet.i haven't absorbed any of these yet, so i'd be
happy to hear what other people have to say.
