Billionaire Ken Hendricks dies after fall from roof
12/21/2007 10:13 am Ken Hendricks, a roofing company billionaire, has died after falling through his roof.The Rock County Sheriff's Department says the 66-year-old was checking on construction on his roof Thursday around 10 p.m. and fell through.Law enforcement commander Troy Knudson says Hendricks' wife called authorities to their home in the town of Rock. Hendricks was taken first to a Beloit hospital and then transferred to Rockford Memorial Hospital in Winnebago County, Illinois.Winnebago County coroner Sue Fiduccia says he was pronounced dead there at 4:48 a.m. She says an autopsy is planned for Friday.Hendricks was the founder, chairman and chief executive officer of ABC Supply. The roofing company does about $3 billion in business a year.
