Really? Why? I mean it's really a mixed message song...the whole "you can count me out (in)" thing and I think his anger makes it even more powerful. When he sings "Don't you know it's gonna be alright" do you think he's really saying it's gonna be alright or he's hoping it's gonna be alright or he sees something really bad coming down the pike and he is childlike curled up in a corner repeating to himself "it's gonna be alright, it's gonna be alright, it's gonna be alright"...

and then you have the whole "Does it really matter what the person meant when they wrote it (made it, painted it, whatever) or does it matter more what it means to the individual once the creation is released into the world."
