I am so glad to see that you have spared yourself the indignity and all-around pain in the rear that is Vista. Since I had someone partition my drive & put Vista in a little corner all its own so that I can run XP, I've had no problems. At least none related to that . . . I can run my software; I can run my hardware; and my PC has quit freezing up all the time.Herring405
