Yeah, I have heard it. I like Son Volt and the song that really pulled me in was a cover of Rex's Blues. They have a flat out beautiful version of it on their greatest hits disc. I think Son Volt stays more traditional in their approach but Wilco experiments more. I thought Yankee Hotel Foxtrot was an amazing album and while I think Wilco could (and sort of does at times) make music like Son Volt...I don't think Son Volt could make a Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. Not that this makes one band better than the other I guess it's all in the ears and what you like to hear.Glad you are well and rockin' out!
