Faith or no faith in the sun’s cheap & efficient eternal energy, as with anything anymore, baseball

is following the money pipeline.  The Sox paid what, a hundred miiiilliiion dollars for ONE pitcher. 

An underprivileged country could be housed, clothed & fed for the “suggested retail value” of this

ONE pitcher?  The potential quality of life could be improved for how many flood victims or how

many presently burnt out Orange County families?  & this is okay?  It’s ONLY...bidness?  &

tickets, beer & hotdog sales pay for this?  The fact that we...can even mentally process this

sum of income for ONE guy who…plays catch!  Granted he…plays catch well, but sheez!
