big @l,
tara’s Eye mon… et al.
having…an ear for native culture music and story,
the music sounds derivative to me, at this point,
(his music is that of the what, Irish Traditional,
yet I hear th yidaki & Aussie reggae sound?)
but the poetry is excellent in my mind’s eye
going to take a few more listens, maybe, to
hear the subtleties in Liam’s music. maybe
not so much “derivative” as a well-worn path
but a well worn beach path gets renewed often
so, as with any critical remark, mine is subjective
and no more than the stuff of grain o salt & knee-jerk
Suppose I like it…but I’m not enthralled. It’s easy listening.
Having listened to all the songs on the site: …good spirit
Good sleeping outside music. Especially the flutes….
Thanx for the introduction. Just my hootenanny o
Tell you what: It would be perfect to have Liam’s
Melodies wafting over the mountainsides with a wash of
Ultra moist air…that settles in over the SoCal fires and smothers
Them out in one perfect wave of astounding hand-of-creation ejaculation
[that’d give fackin Rush Limpbow something to cant on about today]
