The first time I heard "How To Make Gravy", I had a similar reaction. Heartbreakingly beautiful.  A divine song on many levels. I'd like to add Mick Thomas/Weddings Parties Anything to your list of notable Aussies. You may want to begin with their "best of" disc called "Trophy Night". There are more nuggets in it than in the mines of your own Witwatersand! In fact, I'm heavily leaning toward catching a flight in a few weeks to Toronto to catch Mick. He's rarely in the Northern hemisphere. It'll be my $600 weekend!

Alejandro Escovedo was rescheduled so I'm looking at December. Review to follow.
