>I seem to remember her having a bone to pick with DaWayne Bailey as well...and later hearing that she was pretty difficult to get along with, generally speaking...
Oh really, what did you hear about that? DaWayne and I had a brief email exchange about Kevin Gilbert, after he posted about him on a Kansas newsgroup that I read, and where he still posts from time to time. He seemed to really respect Kevin's material. To put in perspective or for those who don't know, DaWayne Bailey was Chicago's guitarist/backup singer for a while in the late 80s-early 90s, and was released or left, I'm not sure which, shortly after the Stone of Sisyphus fiasco. (Their record company deemed this album, which would have been Chicago's 22nd, as unreleasable due to its experimental/non-commercial nature. DaWayne wrote and sang lead on 2 or 3 of its songs, including the title track. There are sites which basically have the whole album posted as mp3s, for those interested.)
DaWayne also has his own newsgroup here.
