that IS a great story. Later in life, those kids will feel that she gave them a proper goodbye and felt good about it and as such, they will too. Kids are quite resilient I've noticed.As an aside, my mother's late mother was Dutch. She had a saying..."if you ain't Dutch, you ain't much." She used to crack me up all the time and we were very close.
