Seven active duty soldiers, independent of any funding or backing by any group left or right, took it upon themselves to write a critical op-ed piece (for anyone not in the military, this took nothing less than real spine). For a rebuttal another group wrote a reply but the difference is this group were separated from the military and funded by an interest group. In other words you have one group performing without a net, while the other group had plenty of net to protect their asses. Hardly similar at all. As far as Move On, what is it that they did bad at all with their ad? They simply asked was Petraeus, a presumed honest man, going to offer a true assessment or do a Colin Powell at the UN. Remember? Powell, arguably at the time the most trusted man in America, went to the UN and fell right on his sword for the Bushies with loads of wrong and inaccurate information.
