I think he's still plenty relevant. He's one of about 3 artists that I still consider an artist after 30 plus years (2 others being DB and Elvis Costello), and his ability to connect with "everyman" remains strong IMHO.

The High-Def version of MTV runs his 'Storytellers' session a couple of times a week and it's a real treat to see into this guy's process. Like him or don't like him, he takes great pains and every single word is important to him. That in itself keeps him relevant to me.

If you want to see Bruce having a hell of a great time on stage, check out the "Live in Dublin" DVD with the Sessions band. It's a blast top to bottom, although I'm not overwhelmed by the re-imagining of "Blinded by the Light" as a hill-stomper.
