A couple of moments come to mind: my firefight with Kent that lasted several days over his defense of
Hutton Gibson, Mel's holocaust denyin' daddy....
...and my losing a hundred dollar bet to Dale over the outcome of the 2004 presidential election. The
most painful hundred bucks I've ever parted with. We'd agreed that we'd donate to a charity of the
winner's choice, and to Dale's credit the money went to the National Kidney Foundation and not the
NRA. Then there were all those weird posters like Buford Pusser....
